Welcome to The Library! I’ve wanted to start a newsletter for some time now, but I wasn’t sure if I could commit to it, nor did I want it to end up just clogging everyone’s email. But I wanted to be able to share with you some tips and tricks, freebies, recommendations, and whatever else that is related to journaling, stationery, and etc.
Danica In Pages Blog
I’ve been journaling privately since I was maybe 11 years old – analog and digital, online and offline – you name it, I probably had it. Sometimes they were consistent, other times they were sporadic and more mood-based. Sadly we moved a whole lot when I was younger and I lost all my paper journals from those times. I started consistently again back in 2015 but it wasn’t until late last year that I started sharing some of them online which then prompted the creation of @danicainpages in January 2021. It has fully blossomed into this passion project.
In this companion blog, we’ll be learning all things journaling – which kinds of notebooks to use, DIY paper, upscaling old books as journal ephemera, creating our own leather journal cover, and so much more! I am in no way an expert at this but I would like to hope that my years of experience with all its trial and errors (there were lots!) can help someone else start their journaling journey.
So make sure to subscribe to the newsletter below to join the community and gain access to The Library where resources (will soon) abound.
To celebrate, here is our first printable in action. I have been meaning to get into postcard making and exchanging letters. My first attempt at creating a postcard from scratch featuring this week’s free printable tag from The Library. I still have a long way to go and I have learned my lesson to use thicker cardstock, but I love how my first attempt worked out. Don’t forget to tag me in your creations and I’m excited to see what you create!
Watch the video below to see how I created this postcard.
